With a strong reputation for delivering creative and sustainable structural engineering solutions, we are expanding our team to meet the demands of the business and are currently recruiting for a Design (AutoCAD) Technician.

As part of the technical department, you will take responsibility for reviewing documentation, analyzing solutions and providing drawings.  You will liaise between the design team and site in finding resolutions to problems that arise.

You will be able to demonstrate technical excellence and have 3-5 years industry experience.

The successful candidate will be a technically talented, enthusiastic and innovative, who is adaptable in approach, passionate about engineering and willing to work in a hands-on environment.

You must:

• be computer literate;
• have excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• be able to write reports which are succinct, efficient and accurate;
• be able to prioritise and manage time;
• be results-oriented;
• be able to work under pressure;
• have good interpersonal skills.

A full clean driver’s licence would be advantageous.

Induction, training and on-going professional development will be provided.

Site safety training (SafePass and Manual Handling) – where not already in place, will be provided.
