ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Liaising with
  • Site Manager:Subcontractors programmes and coordination
  • Senior Engineer:Engineering details and Subcontractors coordination
  • Purchasing Manager:Procurement of bulk items
  • Quality Manager:Maintaining site records in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 requirements
  • H&S Officer:promoting the implementation of the Safety Management System
• Implementation of programmes together with the issue of programme detail to subcontractors
• Attending site meetings as required
• Maintaining the Site Diary – recording manpower levels for each subcontractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Coordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all Health and Safety issues on site
• Providing clear leadership and direction to the site team while maintaining a professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Trade and/or technically qualified with minimum of 7 years’ experience

PREFERRED SKILLS

A successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in a similar role or minimum experience, on large commercial, residential projects involving new build, Fit-Out and Refurbishment projects.
• Proven track record of delivering construction projects to the end user to the highest quality with emphasis on safe and efficient construction at all times.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
