Do I have to pay to request a quotation from a Tradesman?
No, it's completely FREE to request quotations on our site! You can request Quotes by clicking here. Trades Connect acts as a lead generation tool only and does not get involved in any aspect of the pricing or the job itself.
When will I receive a response from the Tradesman?
Once you submit a quotation request, the relevant Tradesman receives an immediate notification. You will receive a direct response from the Tradesman. Make sure to include as much information as possible in the quotation request; including any photos.
How do I register as a Tradesman? (Step by Step)
To register as a Tradesman, you can follow our step by step process here. You will need a valid email address and mobile phone number to register.
I'm having difficulties registering as a Tradesman
Ensure that you have entered the correct email address on the setup page. Also, check your spam/junk folders for the activation link. We advise you to save our email address to avoid any future correspondence reaching these folders.
Why can't I include my phone number/website/email address on my listing?
Phone numbers, website links and email addresses are not permitted on listings, unless you have subscribed to unlimited monthly quote requests. To subscribe to unlimited quote requests please contact us here. Note, that if you include phone numbers, web links or email addresses they will be removed from your listing.
How many Tradesmen recieve the same lead?
This depends on the customer and what they ask us to provide. The customer has the option of asking for up to three quotes. If they request this, the lead will be randomly sent to 3 relevant tradesmen in that category. If the customer does not request multiple quotes, the lead will be sent randomly to one relevant tradesman in that category. Customers also have the option of requesting a quote directly from you on your listing page. This request goes directly to you only unless they specifically ask Trades Connect to provide further quotes from other tradesmen.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
You can retrieve a new password by clicking on the forgot password link on the bottom of the log in box. An email will then be sent to you where you can set a new password.
I have registered my email address but have not received any communication to activate my account
Depending on your mail server, emails may be stored in your junk mailbox. Please check all mailboxes and save our email address as a 'safe sender' for all future communications. If an activation link is not present in any of your mailboxes, please try to register again ensuring you enter your correct email address.
How do I edit/de-activate my listing?
You can edit or de-activate your listing while signed in to your account. Click on 'edit/de-activate' tab.
I wish to cancel my account
In order to cancel your account, please send a cancellation request email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by using the contact form here.
How to post listings under multiple categories?
To post listings under multiple categories, you must publish a new listing under the 'Publish Your Profile' tab for each category. You may be asked to provide verification from Trades Connect admin to ensure you qualify under this category.
